Denmark

Sitting on this great X2000 train on my way down to Denmark. These trains may be rather old by now but they are still a bit of Sweden’s pride when it comes to rolling stock on the rail side. Wonderful construction with tilting carriages to compensate for the centripetal forces in the bends.

Going to Denmark for a day or two working with the Danish rail there as well as some other companies, lots to do with the rollout of their new GSM-R network and although there are a couple of small things to straigten out I believe I will be back in Stockholm pretty soon again

Two weeks of christmas holiday

Good holidays this year, had two weeks off from work, which has been very good, lots of stress to unwind from and now some interesting trips to look forward to do. We’ve been visiting my wife’s family and then we went to the winter hack that ACG-G arranged in Gävle where we also celebrated new year so it was great.

I will be putting together a trip to Canada covering 7 citities in 10 working days withing two weeks back to back. It will be a good trip I’m sure. I think Vancouver would be a good place to stop for the weekend, it seems that everyone I have talked with have something good to say about Vancouver, and it is a city I’ve never been to before so it sounds interesting to try to get the feel for it!

There is also a lot of other things to do, not to mention going to Mexico and other places perhaps. Last year I think one of the best trips was going to Rio de Janeiro, interesting place, lovely beaches and as work trips comes it was rather laid back. Good stuff that!

Har precis flyttat min sida nu till Binero och hoppas att allt skall fungera bra. Den gamla hosten itverkstan lägger ned sin hosting snarr så jagbbehövde hitta ett bra hotell för min sida. Binero fick bli mitt val då mpnga talade gott om den samt att deras support svarade på mina frågor mycket bra samtidigt som priset var rätt.

Att de dessutom har den bästa adminpanelen jag sett gör det hela inte sämre heller.

Låt mig veta om något inte fungerar.
