Västerorts djursjukhus is the closest and best veterinary station from where we live. They also sell special food for animals who need it. One of our cats needs a hypoallergenic food or his eyes get rather itchy after a while.
It’s more expensive by the kg than the best filet mignon.
Lussebullen is one of our two cats, he came with my wife when she moved in, I already had another two cats but one of them has sadly passed since then. Lusse is about 12 years old now and likes to play and has a very regular routine.
A macro lens is useful for many things. This was todays treat after coming home from a long day at work and then visiting a good friend that lives across town. Drank this while sorting out today’s picture.
Late on my way home from work. Tried to capture the mood. There was hardly any light at all to shoot in so I went really high ISO and tried my best holding the camera still.
Ängsjö is a nice recreational area about 5 km from where we live and in the winter time people go here for skiing or just a nice walk around. The weather has not been favourable for skiing or walking around lately so today when we had a little bit of sunshine there was a lot of people about.
I had to go to Gävle today with a friend who was moving there so I drove her and her things. Once there I passed this ominous looking building an decided that the night shot here would be the shot of today.
This is the ”Borgarskolan” school in Gävle. A regular high-scool actually but in the right light it looks like something out of ”The Adams Family”…
And actually, this is the high-school that the friend I was giving a ride went to…
And today the snowing continued. I had to dig out the car again to go to the store getting some groceries and it was difficult to drive in all the snow.
On my way back I came to one of the intersections and there was this lady in a car there waiting to cross the road. Suddenly she just drove her car straight into the road. I had to brake really hard and I was glad to have ABS brakes on the car now since the road was really slippery. She managed to avoid the collision by stopping herself and then immediately reversing back almost hitting the car behind.
It all looked more dramatic than it really was, and the speed was low, but anyway, I am quite careful with my car…
Another picture of the recent snowfall here in Stockholm. This is the walkway out from the apartment building where I live and with the 12″ or 30 cm of snowfall that we had recently together with the old snow the handrails will be gone soon if it continues this way.
And the winter has just started really, I long for the spring time now. It’s so dark all the time.
This photo was taken on my way back to work after being on site working with the radio systems in the Metro. On my way back I passed Thorildsplan which is one of the more forgotten places and metro stations but close to where I work.
This bike was sitting there all alone in the night so I snapped a couple of pictures of it and of Thorildsplan itself and then headed back to the office to finish up what I was doing for the day.
This morning we had a 80% partial solar eclipse. For a long time it seemed like the sun would not rise and then suddenly the light returned.
Unfortunately it was cloudy and not possible to get a shot of the eclipse from where I was going to work but the strange light we had was possible to capture anyway which was what I had to settle for.
